3 years agoWashington Nationals Alex Avila landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with bilateral calf strains. The catcher has been sitting in the dugout for four out of the last five Nationals contests. In addition, the veteran has struggled at the plate in 2021, batting .167 with zero home runs and six RBI in 66 at-bats. It looks like he will be out of the team's lineup through the All-Star break. Avila being injured should not be a factor in fantasy with the lackluster season he is having.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
