Alex Bowman A Risk at Best at Michigan This Weekend
3 years agoAlex Bowman has little reason to do that well in this race and the 18th at Kansas was troubling. What is more concerning is that the No. 48 is nowhere near the top ten in speed tests or average results at Michigan. The Hendricks Motorsports Racing driver likely has the fourth-best car with this build. The other dilemma is how he races in dirty air. It is not a secret that he has had issues on intermediate tracks with losing position. Again at Kansas, he was headed for the top ten when he just could not get enough clean air. Place differential is not likely to be with Bowman due to that tenth place start. It may be better for DFS to look elsewhere.
