3 years agoAlex Bowman has two wins in his previous seven races. That includes six top-ten finishes. Two of those six were at Austin (8th) and Sonoma (9th). Bowman won the Saturday race at Pocono. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver has shown more consistency over the past couple of months. Bowman even has managed an average finish of 9.5 on road courses since 2018. It just is a fact that seems to get taken for granted. The No. 48 should contend again on Sunday and might even lead a few laps.
