3 years agoAlex Bowman had one fast race car, especially early on. He easily won Stage 1 and then kind of just vanished for a good bit. The No. 48 car managed to lurk and lurk, and lurk. He struck at the right time as the Hendricks Motorsports Racing Driver led 16 laps in all on Sunday. What mattered was this. Bowman led the final lap that counted. He took home the checkered flag for his first win of 2022 and fifth in the last calendar year. The Hendricks team had all four cars within the top nine on Sunday led by Bowman. Bowman bested teammate Kyle Larson by just 0.178 seconds. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
