Alex Bowman Is Too Much of a Risk for the Price at Daytona
5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman will make his eighth start at Daytona and his fourth driving the No. 88 Chevrolet. Since 2018 at the site, Bowman ranks second in driver rating (91.7) and first in laps in the top 15 (550) and average running position (10.0). Bowman’s best finish at DIS is 10th, and he has finished ahead of his starting position three times in seven starts. Bowman will start second in this year’s Daytona 500, therefore he can easily lose place differential. Bowman’s price leans a bit too high and is too risky in order to recommend when there are cheaper and safer DFS alternatives, especially when he likely will finish outside of the top 10 based on practice speeds displayed during Daytona speedweeks.
