Alex Bowman Leads Most Laps In Coca-Cola 600

4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman led 164 laps and looked to be the dominant car during the early stages of the 2020 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but he faded as the race went on, eventually finishing 19th after struggling to get going on the final restart of the race. The good news for Bowman is that because NASCAR inverts the top-20 drivers to start Wednesday's race here, Bowman's starting on the front row for a short race, which should give him a shot to once again drive away from the field. Sunday was a disappointing end for DFS players who rostered Bowman and place differential won't help him on Wednesday, but if you're looking for someone who can lead a ton of laps and pull off a victory, Bowman could be your guy.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
