Alex Bowman Looks For Success Again At Fontana
3 years agoAlex Bowman and the No. 48 car found a way two years ago to not only win the 400-mile race at Fontana, but he led 220 of those miles (110 laps). It was a dominant performance that put the spotlight on Bowman. Considering that his other four appearances on the track were nowhere near the 2020 triumph, that is somewhat of a concern. 2018 saw him improve 15 positions from his start. If the Hendricks car is anywhere near as fast as it was in 2020, Bowman has a chance on Sunday to race for a possible win.
