4 years agoAlex Bowman hung in there all day, survived the wrecks, and was able to take advantage of the long run at the end and finish third at Atlanta. He never did lead a lap but the Chevy was able to stay on the lead lap pretty much the entire race. Sometimes at Atlanta, survival yields unexpected results. Bowman finished around eight seconds behind Kyle Larson and just over ten behind Ryan Blaney. It was a nice finish for the Chevy driver who improved 11 spots over his 14th place start.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
