3 years agoAlex Bowman's car was pretty fast all night as the No. 48 parlayed that into a fifth-place result at Charlotte on Sunday. Bowman's Chevy actually managed to lead five laps along the way as well. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver moved up to 12th place in the Cup Series standings with the result. Bowman was able to stay focused as he gradually moved up the field on Sunday. He was tenth after the first stage then moved up to seventh after the second before landing in the top-five after the third stage.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
