4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 with one walk and two runs scored as the Astros advance to the ALCS after defeating the A's 11-6 on Thursday. It seems ironic that Bregman has taken a back seat to the offensive production of teammates Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa but the dynamic MVP-type player has chipped in his fair share. Bregman has posted multiple hits in three of the four ALDS games and walks out of the series slashing .400/.500/.667 over his last 15 at-bats. The Astros offense is clicking on all cylinders and awaits their next opponent in the ALCS.--Joey C - RotoBaller
