3 years agoHouston Astros infielder Alex Bregman (hamstring, quad) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list within the next day or two. He's been sidelined since mid-June with a quadriceps injury. The 27-year-old completed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land and returned to Houston to work out with the Astros on Tuesday. Bregman could be activated ahead of Wednesday's series finale against the Kansas City Royals. The Astros' third baseman slashed .275/.359/.428 with seven home runs, 34 RBI, 37 runs scored, and one stolen base over 262 plate appearances before landing on the injured list.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
