6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop/third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-5 with one RBI in the Astros 7-4 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. Bregman drove in his 92nd run of the season and extended his hitting streak to eight games. Bregman will be sad to see the month of August go, after posting a gargantuan .408/.482/.755 line with one triple, six home runs, 14 doubles, 26 runs scored and 29 runs batted in over his last 98 at-bats. The All-Star's batting average has jumped from .259 on July 31 to .290 entering the weekend's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
