6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Alex Bregman will try and shake off a 3-for-24 slump Monday night against the Blue Jays in Toronto. It has been an MVP-worthy season for the 24-year-old and has been a consistent force throughout the entire season. He especially has been deadly with runners in scoring position, slashing .380/.484/.705 with 70 runs batted in through 76 at-bats in these situations. Bregman is also one of the few Houston players that actually slugs better at home (.554 slugging percentage) than on the road (.514 slugging). For the season, Bregman is slashing .288/.395/.533 with one triple, 31 home runs, 52 doubles, 104 runs batted in and 107 runs scored heading into the final week of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
