7 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 Thursday, including a two-run double and two-run home run. Bregman now has six runs batted in over his last three games and has raised his batting average to .277 thanks to hitting .303 over his last 76 at-bats. Slowly but surely, Bregman is beginning to take his offensive game to another level after a sluggish start to the season. He now has hits in 17 of his last 19 games, his on base percentage is a sparkling .393 and is hitting .372 through 43 at-bats with runners in scoring position.
