4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman was placed on the injured list due to health and safety protocols on Wednesday. The third baseman joins four other Astros on the list and there is no confirmed report as to whether Bregman has tested positive for COVID-19. Bregman does not have to sit for a minimum amount of days and can return to the field if he tests negative. This could have him in line to return to the lineup on Friday but fantasy teams need to prepare to play the Friday slate without him. The 27-year-old battled a hamstring injury during Spring Training but is slugging .486 with six extra-base hits through his first 35 at-bats this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
