4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 1-for-3 with one walks, two runs scored and two runs batted in as the Astros defeated the Red Sox 11-2 on Monday. It has been an impressive display of patience at the plate for Bregman in the month of May, posting a .418 on-base percentage with 20 walks and a .297 batting average over his last 101 at-bats. The power has not quite flashed yet at the dish for the young slugger but that could only be a matter of time. For the season, Bregman is now slashing .298/.393/.449 with six home runs, nine doubles, 26 walks, 29 runs batted in and 31 runs scored through 178 at-bats this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
