Alex Bregman Posts First Four-Hit Game Of Career
7 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman burst out of his slump on Wednesday, going 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and a two-run home run as the Astros lost late to the Twins 9-8. Bregman's batting average skyrocketed to .245 after the game, and it was the first four-hit game of his career. Bregman has gotten off to a slow start, but manager A.J. Hinch has stuck to his guns and kept him in the two-hole in the lineup. More productive play could be right around the corner for the 24-year-old talented infielder.
