3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will be a key catalyst towards the team's hopeful success against the White Sox in the ALDS beginning Thursday. Bregman's regular season was submarined by a quadricep injury and was held to only 91 games this season. Bregman slashed .261/.348/.412 in 32 games since his return from the injured list with eight extra-base hits, 17 runs scored and 21 runs batted in through 119 at-bats. Bregman hit only .220 through 50 postseason at-bats last season and is hitting only .229 in his career through 57 playoff games.--Joey C - RotoBaller
