6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman has two walks and three hits over his last two games heading into Wednesday night's tilt against the Rangers. Bregman is off to a slow start in this small sample size of the 2019 MLB season, but it is only a matter of time before he explodes. Bregman posted only a .381 slugging percentage in the month of April in 2018, so fantasy owners may have to wait before the 25-year-old begins posting MVP-type numbers. He will, however, have a fantastic matchup Wednesday against Rangers expected starter Mike Minor. Bregman last season slashed .315/.402/.567 against left-handed pitching, with 26 of his 56 hits going for extra bases.--Joey C - RotoBaller
