7 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman hit a bases-loaded double, keying the Astros offensive attack in their 5-2 win over the Angels on Wednesday. It wasn't the hardest hit baseball in Bregman's career, but it was enough on a day when starter Justin Verlander was mowing down Angels hitters. Bregman has slowly begun to heat up over his last six games played, posting nine hits over his last 25 at-bats for a .360 batting average. The 24-year-old infielder got off to a slow start last season but came back with an electric second half. Fantasy owners need to stay patient with the talented Bregman.--Joey C - RotoBaller
