6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alex Cobb turned in a strong performance in Wednesday's 7-5 win against the Yankees, pitching six innings of one-run ball on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Cobb is now 3-14 on the season with a 5.83 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP. While he has been much better in the second half of the season (2.65 ERA in 17 IP), fantasy players can find better than Cobb on the waiver wire. He will need to produce more strong starts before fantasy players can trust him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
