4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Alex Cobb appears to have done enough to break camp in the starting rotation. The Angels are planning on experimenting with a six-man rotation and the veteran Cobb is in line to be that sixth starter. Cobb has allowed only two runs in 7 2/3 innings this spring, allowing only four hits and eight strikeouts. The veteran was solid, yet unspectacular, last season for the Orioles, posting a 2-5 record with a 4.30 ERA. Cobb no longer is the type of pitcher with put-away stuff and allowed eight home runs through 52 1/3 innings last season. Expectations are low for Cobb heading into the season and lacks fantasy appeal heading into standard format drafts.--Joey C - RotoBaller
