Alex Cobb Pitches Well Again, Takes No-Decision Tuesday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alex Cobb turned in another solid start in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Rays. Cobb pitched seven innings, allowing a single run on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old has turned things around in the second half of the season, posting a 2.25 ERA with 15 strikeouts and six walks in 24 IP. However, Cobb still sports a 5.55 ERA and a poor 6.02 K/9 rate on the season and will make his next start against a very tough Red Sox matchup, so fantasy owners should hold off on utilizing him in their lineups.
