Alex Cobb Pitches Well Thursday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Alex Cobb (8-3) held the Houston Astros to one run during his no-decision in Thursday's 3-2 loss. He pitched 5.2 innings, allowing three walks while striking out four. He got the first two outs in the sixth but then walked back-to-back hitters and gave up an RBI single before being pulled. Cobb doesn't seem to have lost it in his two starts after over a month on the injured list, pitching to a 0.84 ERA over 10.2 IP. Overall this season, he has a 3.46 ERA, 93 strikeouts, and 31 walks across 88.1 innings and 17 starts. He remains a productive fantasy pitcher, contributing in multiple categories.
