3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Cobb got back on track after a rough outing his last time out, striking out eight over five innings of work on Friday. He also allowed two runs on three hits and walked just one but didn't factor into the decision in the 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. Cobb's sporting a 4.80 ERA with a 31.9 K%, 8.7 BB%, and a 1.53 WHIP. However, his 2.21 FIP and 1.26 xERA paint a better picture. Cobb will look to keep this up in his next outing, expected to come at home against the Colorado Rockies next week.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
