Alex Cobb Throws Second Bullpen
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Alex Cobb (wrist) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Monday, according to Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group. Cobb spoke afterwards and said that everything went well. However, there is still no timetable for his return. Cobb was placed on the 10-day injured list on July 30 after experiencing wrist inflammation but was pitching surprisingly well before the ailment. He's posted a 3.82 ERA, 25.7 K%, 8.0 BB%, and just three home runs over 77.2 IP. Cobb's still a rehab assignment away from being activated but should be trusted to put up the same numbers once he's back.
