Alex Cobb To Miss Thursday's Start
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Alex Cobb (finger) is not available to start Thursday's game against the Oakland Athletics, according to Sam Blum of The Athletic. Cobb left early during his July 23 start with a blister on his finger and has been day-to-day since. Fantasy managers will hope he only misses one turn in the rotation as Cobb's been a nice surprise this season. He's posted a 3.82 ERA in 77.2 innings, with 84 strikeouts and 26 walks allowed. Angels right-hander Dylan Bundy will start in Cobb's place.
