4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Alex Cobb will take the mound Saturday against the Mariners. Cobb (3-2) has been impressive since returning from the injured list and twirled seven shutout innings while allowing only three hits and punching out eight hitters against the A's on May 29. The veteran has now allowed only one run over the 12 innings he has pitched since his return to the mound. Cobb is quietly posting a fantastic 11.61 K/9 rate through his first seven starts but health will be the key towards the right-hander's success moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
