Alex Collins Remains Limited Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. The 27-year-old has been managing a groin issue but is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. Seattle designated RB Chris Carson (neck) from injured reserve this week, who had missed four weeks with a neck issue. Collins could be relegated to backup duties if Carson is active in Week 10. He rushed for 271 yards on 71 attempts and two touchdowns, along with catching six passes for 65 yards while filling in for the 27-year-old. The Seahawks will get star QB Russell Wilson, back for Sunday's game; Collins is on the flex radar if Seattle decides to rest Carson one more week.
