Alex Collins Returns As Full Practice Participant Friday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (groin) was able to log a full practice session Friday, paving the way for him to lead the team's backfield Sunday against Green Bay. Collins has received double-digit carries in each of the past five weeks, and without Chris Carson (neck) cleared, Seattle is likely to tab the 27-year-old as its RB1. Having recorded two rushing touchdowns in that span, Collins stands to see RB2/FLEX appeal in most season-long formats, even with the return of quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) under center. The Packers defense sits roughly at the middle of the pack, yielding an average of 110.8 rushing yards per game this season. With Carson's return reportedly not far off, Collins could be facing his final opportunity to make an impression moving forward.
