Alex Collins Scores Touchdown But Also Loses Fumble In Loss
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries while also grabbing two passes for an additional 14 yards in Sunday afternoon's loss to Carolina. He also lost his third fumble on the season. Collins, who posted his second-highest yards per rushing attempt (4.5) in a game this season, started the game in strong fashion by closing out the Ravens opening drive with a 14-yard touchdown run. However, his fumble on the first play of the second quarter set up the Panthers at Baltimore's 12-yard line, and Carolina scored two plays later to take a 14-7 lead. While Collins is now the team's unquestioned lead back, his fantasy value is highly dependent on him reaching the end zone, which he has done five times.
