Alex Colome Blows Save Wednesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome blew his fifth save of the year Wednesday night against Cleveland, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk in an inning of work. This breaks a streak of nine consecutive scoreless outings for Colome, during which time he's registered five saves. Colome is not your stereotypical closer, with just 38 strikeouts in 46 2/3 innings this year, but he is the guy to roster for Minnesota, so fantasy managers in need of every save should keep him rostered even if his lack of whiffs will come back to bite him every now and then.
