4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome was saddled with his fourth loss of the season on Saturday. Colome entered the game in the bottom of the 10th inning with the automatic runner on second and proceeded to serve up a game-winning homer to Cleveland Indians' second baseman Cesar Hernandez on a fastball right down the middle. The appearance snapped a stretch of 7 2/3 scoreless innings dating back to May 1 for the veteran right-hander. After seemingly turning his season around pitching in relatively low-leverage situations, Colome took a step back on Saturday. The Twins' closer situation is an ever-changing one, though Taylor Rogers and Hansel Robles should remain the favorites for saves in the bullpen moving forward.--Tim Capurso
