4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome pitched another scoreless frame in a losing effort to the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Colome entered the game in the top of the seventh inning- and worked through the heart of the White Sox order, striking out a batter in the process. The 32-year-old has now pitched 7 2/3 scoreless innings in a row, lowering his season ERA from 8.31 to 4.41. The lower leverage situations have seemingly gotten Colome's season back on track, so it wouldn't be surprising to see manager Rocco Baldelli go back to the veteran in a save situation moving forward.--Tim Capurso
