4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome was roughed up in his spring debut with his new team. Colome pitched one inning, surrendering five hits and four runs- including one home run- while fanning one batter. The veteran reliever threw mostly fastballs and cutters, though he allowed a ton of loud contact- five balls traveled at an exit velocity of 100 MPH or greater. That said, Colome did get a nice punch-out with his cutter- and it is only the first outing of the spring. The 32-year-old will be in line for some saves in manager Rocco Baldelli's wide-open bullpen, though he'll want to put forth a better performance in his next outing. He could be a late-round option for those who miss out on the top and middle-tier closers at his 160 ADP.--Tim Capurso
