5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson (oblique) is beginning a rehab assignment tonight for Triple-A Sacramento. Dickerson was on fire before an oblique injury landed him on the injured list, he was batting .415 with a 1.211 OPS in 14 games since the All-Star break. On the season Dickerson has a .421 on-base percentage thanks in part to good plate discipline metrics and was making hard contact at a 44.4 percent rate when he puts the ball in play. He's worth an add in most leagues as the rehab assignment is expected to be a short one.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
