5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Alex Dickerson (oblique) is being sent back to San Francisco to receive a cortisone shot in his right oblique, per NBC Sports' Alex Pavlovic. Dickerson has not played in the last four games. The 29-year-old has been quite useful for the Giants this season and for fantasy players, posting a .289/.349/.526 slash line with six home runs and 26 RBI in 166 plate appearances. At this point in the fantasy season, however, Dickerson can be dropped given his injury issues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
