Alex Faedo Dealing With Hip Soreness
2 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Alex Faedo (hip) exited Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians due to right hip soreness. He allowed three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three over 3 2/3 innings before leaving. The 26-year-old will return to the minor leagues regardless of his injury status. He is considered day-to-day. The right-hander owns a 1-4 record with a 5.02 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and a 42:21 K: BB across 52 innings in 2022. Faedo has struggled as of late, surrendering 17 earned runs over his last four appearances. Fantasy managers outside of deep-league formats can leave Faedo on the waiver wire.
