3 years agoOttawa Senators left-winger Alex Formenton had been given more and more of an offensive role. Formenton, for the most part, has delivered. He fired six shots on goal Saturday versus the Toronto Maple Leafs in 19:09 of action. The forward had a few high-danger chances and nearly beat Jack Campbell twice. Formenton had five points in his last five games coming into Saturday. He has six goals and ten points in 26 games this season but better offensive times are likely for the 22-year old as 2022 goes on.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
