3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff went 2-for-3 with a pair of base this in Tuesday's loss to the Seattle Mariners. Kirilloff recorded half of his team's hits, reaching on an infield single in the fifth, then later collecting another single. The solid effort raised his season batting average to .264. Kirilloff is 3-for-7 with a home run in his last two games and continues to hit the ball hard, suggesting that perhaps more power numbers could be on the way.--Tim Capurso
