Alex Kirilloff Lands On The 10-Day Injured List
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Alex Kirilloff (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with right wrist inflammation. He has dealt wrist injuries throughout his career, and it continues to be troublesome for the former first-round pick. The 24-year-old has been limited to 45 games in 2022, slashing .250/.290/.361 with three home runs, 21 RBI, and 14 runs scored across 155 plate appearances. The Twins are banged up in the outfield as Byron Buxton, and Max Kepler deal with injuries. Fantasy managers with an open IL spot should continue to stash Kirilloff due to his upside and hope the top prospect has the minimum stay on the injured list.
