4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff extended his hit streak to nine games in a losing effort to the Cleveland Indians on Saturday. Kirilloff helped knock Indians' ace Shane Bieber out of the game with his game-tying RBI single to center. It was a loud base hit as it left the bat at an exit velocity of 102.5 MPH. The 23-year-old continues to impress at the big-league level, as his .804 OPS would rank third on the Twins even though he's played less than half the games of his counterparts. Kirilloff's .323 expected batting average and .815 expected slugging percentage suggest that more good numbers are on the way.--Tim Capurso
