4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment with the Triple-A St. Paul Saints on Wednesday. Kirilloff is slated to start as the designated hitter, and then he'll likely make a start in the outfield on Thursday for the team's minor league affiliate. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the 23-year-old could come off the injured list by the end of the week. That would be great news for the Twins and his fantasy managers, as Kirilloff was riding a six-game hitting streak with four homers and 11 RBI before going down with the sprained right wrist.--Tim Capurso
