4 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Alex Lange was optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Monday, according to the MLB.com transaction log. Lange had struggled in his first taste of the majors, going 0-1 with a 7.43 ERA and 1.725 WHIP over 15 appearances, although he also struck out 16 batters in 13 1/3 innings of work. Managers can continue to leave him on the waiver-wire for now, but he's an interesting prospect to keep an eye on going forward for his strikeout potential.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
