4 years agoIn Saturday night's only first-round TKO, Alex Morono (19-7) made the best of his late-notice co-main-event call-up and scored a TKO victory over UFC legend Donald Cerrone. In 4:40 of action, Morono notched 35 significant strikes (41 total strikes), including a big right hand that sent Cerrone reeling, leading to the beginning of the end. Though he is 2-2 in his last four fights, Morono gained a lot of confidence in his recent loss, and it paid off in the big win over Cerrone. Morono might have found his groove, and it is possible that he goes on a nice run here in the welterweight division.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
