3 years agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic produced a career-high 47 saves in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Boston and also had an assist. He logged his second helper of the season inside the final minute when Sam Gagner scored an empty-net goal. Carolina's Frederik Andersen is the only goalie in the league with more assists this season (4). Nedeljkovic has been forced to clean up for a struggling team and he hasn't had a lot of joy this term, particularly during the latter half of the regular season. Tuesday marked just his fourth winning effort in his last 14 starts.
