4 years agoColorado Avalanche center Alex Newhook picked up assists on both of the team's goals in Monday's 2-1 win over Vegas. Andre Burakovsky and J.T. Compher notched the goals. Newhook is a late addition to the Avalanche squad as this was only his fourth appearance of the season. He's quickly picked up three assists as the third-line center. The 20-year-old had 16 points in 12 games for the Boston College this season and added a further nine points in eight outings for the Colorado Eagles in the AHL, before making his NHL debut.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
