7 years agoNew Orleans Saints defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle, knee) was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and knee bone bruise after he underwent an MRI exam on Wednesday, according to sources informed of the situation. He's considered week-to-week and it's unclear when he'll return to practice. Okafor is coming off a torn Achilles in Week 11 of last year, but he was having a strong year before the injury, tallying 43 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
