3 years agoWashington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin could return to the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets. Ovechkin is awaiting COVID-19 test results, and that will ultimately determine if he can be removed from the NHL's health and safety protocols after being placed there prior to the All-Star break. Ovechkin will likely play if the test comes back negative, according to head coach Peter Laviolette.
