3 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin (lower body) is a game-time decision for Wednesday's clash with the Rangers. The Great Eight got hurt in the team's preseason finale last week and could join long-time partner in crime Nicklas Backstrom (hip) on the sidelines. However, Ovechkin was on the ice for Tuesday's optional practice and also took part in the morning skate on Wednesday, which points to the fact that he's recovered well from the blow.
